Crochet for Comfort - Learn to Hand-Crochet
This beginner-friendly hand-crochet workshop introduces the art of crochet as a relaxing and restorative activity, helping individuals in addiction recovery. Participants will learn beginner-friendly (no hook!) techniques while contributing to a meaningful cause—creating handmade comfort scarves that can be used to support recovery and mental health. The workshop blends creativity, compassion, and science, helping attendees de-stress and learn about addiction while giving back. (For libraries: Creating encouragement cards for those facing life challenges such as addiction recovery or homelessness is also encouraged at the end.) All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed. Perfect for those looking to learn a new skill while making a difference.
